Creative Director and owner of Klaos & Conquer rubs shoulders with Virgil Abloh
Bringing two brand audiences together is often the recipe for fashion greatness, which is why collaborations in fashion are considered a great way to keep consumers engaged and excited. Fresh off the heels of the success of his Wizard of Oz themed SS 2019 collection debut in London, Virgil Abloh headed to New York to continue the momentum. The designer chose the fashion capital as the location to host a pop up shop to preview some of the most popular items from the Louis Vuitton collection and release a custom collaboration with Chrome Hearts. The residency features exclusive Off-White™ x Chrome Hearts products as well as statement leather and metallic goods from the show. Personally invited to the pop up hosted at Chrome Hearts’ flagship store, Alaric J. Klaos seized the opportunity to not only view the merchandise but also to make connections. Among other things, Alaric and Virgil discussed how collaborations have to make sense in order to attain the desired impact in the fashion world. Naturally, the possibility of a collaboration between the two creative directors was also discussed and will be on the horizon in the near future.
